Overview
Fused deposition printers will produce volatile organic compounds (VOCs) during printing because the heating temperature of materials such as ABS, PC, and PA is relatively high, leading to the production of more VOCs. In contrast, materials like PLA, which have lower melting temperatures, produce significantly fewer VOCs during printing. These volatile organic compounds are absorbed by our special activated carbon air filter.
