Galaxy Surface

The Galaxy Surface transfers a vibrant galaxy rainbow effect on the first layer of the print, which glitters and changes color depending on the angle. It works best with silk or shiny filaments to take advantage of the pattern transfer.

Carbon Fiber Surface

The Carbon Fiber has a very slight texture similar to real Carbon Fiber. The pattern transfers to the first layer of the 3D printed model, creating a 3D effect with a distinctive texture, especially when used with a gray carbon filament color.

Starry Surface

The Starry Surface transfers a rainbow kaleidoscope starry effect on the first layer of the print, which glitters and changes color depending on the angle. It works best with silk or shiny filaments to take advantage of the pattern transfer.

Diamond Surface

The Diamond Surface imprints a diamond pattern on the first layer with a mix of glossy and matte shapes applied to the smooth surface. It's best used with silk or shiny filaments, to take advantage of the pattern transfer.

How to install the 3D Effect Spare Sheet

HINTS: The STL file of the "Fixture tool" shown in the video can be downloaded from here!

📝 Notes

1. For best results, apply the 3D Effect Spare Sheet only on the official Bambu Lab steel plate.
2. You may also use the Bambu Engineering Plate (the reverse side of the Cool Plate or High Temp Plate). If reusing an old plate:

• Remove the previous sheet completely.
• Clean off all glue residue thoroughly.
• Ensure the surface is dry and clean before applying the new sheet.

1. When using the 3D Effect Plate, set the plate type in Bambu Studio to Smooth PEI/High Temp Plate.
2. The 3D effect patterns may disappear if the surface is greasy.

• Always keep the sheet clean.
• Use hot water and mild detergent.
• Avoid touching the sheet directly with your fingers.

⚠️ Important Considerations

1. LIDAR calibration may not work properly due to reflections from the 3D Effect Sheet.
2. ➤ We recommend skipping LIDAR calibration or using a regular plate for calibration.
3. The 3D Effect Spare Sheets are consumables. To extend their lifespan:

• Try printing in different areas of the sheet to reduce wear.

1. Do not apply glue to the surface.
2. Use caution when removing prints with a scraper to avoid damaging the textured surface.

⚙️ Recommended Printing Settings

• Filaments: Best used with PLA and TPU.
• ➤ Other filaments may work, but slicer settings might need adjustments.
• Plate Type: Select Smooth PEI Plate or High Temp Plate in Bambu Studio.
