Bambu Textured PEI Plate
🔹 Bambu Lab Textured PEI Plate✔️ Excellent First Layer Adhesion | ✔️ Improved Durability | ✔️ Compatible with Various Filaments
✨ Product Features:
🔸 Excellent Adhesion & Enhanced Durability
The manufacturing process has been upgraded to offer better durability and improved first-layer adhesion without glue in most cases.
(Some specialty filaments may still require glue.)
🔸 Easy Release After Cooling
Once the build plate cools down below 35°C, prints self-release. Simply bend the plate gently, and the model will pop off right into your hand.
🔸 Textured Surface Finish
This plate is coated with a fine texture that gives your models a beautiful, professional look straight from the first layer.
🔸 Wide Filament Compatibility
Works seamlessly with PLA, TPU, PETG, ABS, Nylon, and other high-temp materials.
🔸 Strong Magnetic Hold
Built from 0.5mm thick stainless steel to ensure strong magnetic attraction, minimizing warping and first-layer issues, especially for large prints or materials prone to shrinking like ABS, PC, or Nylon.
🧼 Usage & Maintenance Tips:
- Increase bed temperature to boost adhesion when needed.
- Regularly clean with mild detergent and water to remove dust or oils.
- Avoid acetone – it can damage the PEI coating.
- Use only official Bambu glue if required – other glues may ruin the plate.
- Wait for the plate to cool before removing prints to avoid damage.
- You can gently sand the surface with 600 grit sandpaper to refresh adhesion.
- This plate is considered a consumable. Warranty covers manufacturing defects only, not wear from normal use.

Excellent First-layer Adhesion and Improved Durability
After optimizing the manufacturing process of the Bambu Texture PEI Plate, the durability of the plate is enhanced. Additionally, the adhesion between the prints and the plate is significantly improved, eliminating the need for adhesives.
*In some situations, glue is required for very specific filaments

Self-release when Cooled Down
PEI is an excellent material for 3D printing applications due to its ability to withstand the repeated heating and cooling cycles of a printer heatbed. Prints come off easily when the temperature of the heatbed reaches room temperature, and we always recommend waiting until it reaches 35℃ or lower. If the print is still adheres to the plate, simply bend the steel plate and the model will fall right into your hands.

Compatible with Various Filaments
PEI enables printing not only with common materials such as PLA, TPU, PETG, but also with materials that require high temperatures like ABS and Nylon.

Reliable Magnetic Adhesion to Prevent Warping
The Bambu Texture PEI Plate features a 0.5mm-thick stainless steel plate that enhanced magnetic adhesion. This helps to prevent warping and ensure optimal print quality during 3D printing, reducing the likelihood of the first layer detaching due to deformation. It also helps when printing larger models with materials that are prone to warping like ABS, PC and Nylon.

Textured Surface Finish
Bambu Texture PEI Plate offers a one-of-a-kind first-layer surface. Through the application of a powder-coating process, this PEI Build Plate creates a rugged texture that adds a texture to your prints.

Considerations
- Increasing heatbed temperature enhances adhesion. Users need to adjust the temperature of the heatbed based on their specific requirements in order to achieve the most suitable level of adhesion.
- Before auto-leveling, it is necessary to repeatedly rub the nozzle in the special wiping area of the build plate to completely remove any residual material at the tip of the nozzle. The coating in the special-designed wiping area will gradually become worn over time. This is normal and does not affect print quality or nozzle lifetime, so there is no need to worry about any quality issues.
- Deposition of dust and grease on the build plate decrease adhesion. It is recommended to regularly clean the surface with detergent and water to to maintain best adhesion.
- Bambu Lab recommends only using Bambu Lab official glue on the Bambu Lab build plates, and can not be held responsible for any damage caused to plates as a result of using third-party glue on build plates. Do not clean the Textured PEI with Acetone, as it will damage the PEI surface.
- Always wait for a few minutes before removing printed models to allow the plate to cool down for easy print removal. This prevents damage to the plate and ensures a long lifetime of the product.
- Carefully sanding the surface with fine-grit (600 was recommended) sandpaper can help restore adhesion.
- The latest firmware brings significant improvements to the Bambu Textured PEI Plate calibration using the Micro Lidar, and it is now fully compatible with the automatic calibration process.
- The Textured PEI plate is considered a consumable part, which will degrade over time. The warranty will only cover manufacturing defects, not cosmetic damage like scratches, dents, or cracks. Defective sheets upon arrival are the only ones covered by the warranty.
