Official Warranty Policy for Bambu Lab Products


1. Approved Warranty Period

Inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Wayto3D Customers Only)

Wayto3D provides a 24-month (2-year) warranty on printers and covered spare parts in accordance with Saudi consumer protection regulations.

This coverage applies according to the part classification detailed in this policy.

Outside Saudi Arabia (or when purchased directly from Bambu Lab)

The official manufacturer warranty provided by Bambu Lab is:

  • 12 months on most major components
  • 3 months on selected sensitive or moving components
  • Consumable parts are not covered

2. Warranty Coverage by Component Type

Although the printer as a whole carries a 24-month warranty inside Saudi Arabia (and 12 months internationally), each internal component is classified separately by Bambu Lab according to its function and nature.

  • Some core structural and electronic components are covered for 12 months.
  • Certain sensitive, moving, or precision components are covered for 3 months.
  • Consumable parts are not covered under warranty.

This classification is officially defined by Bambu Lab and applied globally. Wayto3D adheres to this classification within Saudi Arabia.

  • Controller Board
  • Power Supply Unit
  • Printer Frame / Enclosure
  • X/Y/Z Stepper Motors
  • Linear Rods / Lead Screws
  • Belts / Pulleys
  • Motion Sensors / Lidar / Filament Sensors
  • Chamber Camera
  • Touchscreen Display
  • Auxiliary Cooling Fan
  • Heatbed PCB
  • AMS Main Unit Cover
  • AMS 2 Pro Drying System
  • AMS Hub
  • H2D Laser or Cutter Modules
  • Bed Leveling Knob
  • X-Axis Carbon Rods

The Vortek head-switching mechanism in H2C printers and its switching system are considered core structural components and follow the official manufacturer classification.

However, nozzles and internal wear components within the print head are considered consumable parts and are not covered unless a manufacturing defect is clearly present upon delivery.

The same classification principles apply to models such as H2D, H2S, and P2S.

Toolhead / Extruder units are classified as sensitive or moving components and are typically covered under the 3-month category, depending on manufacturer classification.

Additional modules such as laser or cutter units follow classification based on their nature and function.

All AMS-related units follow the same official classification rules.

Components Covered for 3 Months

  • Extruder / Toolhead
  • AMS First Stage Feeder
  • Internal AMS Hub Motor
  • Air Assist Tube Coupler
  • AMS Lite Roller Holders
  • Model Cooling Fan

This classification applies to all compatible models using similar toolhead or AMS systems.

Parts Not Covered (Consumables)

  • Complete Hotend
  • Nozzle
  • Thermistor / Heater
  • PTFE Tubes
  • All Print Plates (PEI, Textured, etc.)
  • Funnel Unit
  • AMS Blade
  • Lenses, blades, cleaning tools
  • Filaments or free samples

Normal wear of these components is considered expected usage and is not classified as a manufacturing defect.

3. Important Exclusions

Consumable parts are only eligible if a clear manufacturing defect is present at the time of delivery.

Warranty does not cover:

  • Natural wear and tear from normal or heavy use
  • Damage caused by abrasive filaments (carbon fiber, glass fiber, or similar materials)
  • Improper use or neglect of maintenance
  • Damage caused by electrical surges, unstable voltage, or improper grounding

Warranty period begins from the original invoice date.

4. How to Submit a Warranty Claim

To submit a claim, please provide:

  • Order number or invoice
  • Printer serial number
  • Detailed description of the issue
  • Photos or video (if available)
  • Log file

Claims are evaluated within 2–5 business days.

If approved, the replacement part will be shipped free of charge within Saudi Arabia.

Warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective part only.

Full printer replacement is only applicable in cases of confirmed major manufacturing defect.

5. General Notes

  • Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
  • Warranty does not cover damage occurring after delivery due to improper transport, installation, or misuse.
  • Opening or modifying the device by unauthorized parties voids the warranty.
  • A stable power source with proper grounding is strongly recommended.

6. After Warranty Expiration

Wayto3D provides genuine spare parts and maintenance services at reasonable cost to ensure continued printer performance after the warranty period ends.

7. Warranty Void Conditions

Warranty will be void if any of the following is determined:

  • Unauthorized repair or modification
  • Use of non-original or incompatible parts
  • Tampering with internal system or factory settings
  • Operating the printer contrary to official user guidelines

Important Notice to Customers

We recommend following official troubleshooting steps published on Bambu Wiki or contacting Bambu Lab support.

Do not perform internal repairs or modifications before consulting Wayto3D.

Unauthorized intervention may void the warranty.

If warranty is voided, the customer is responsible for diagnostic, repair, replacement, and shipping costs.
